Speak better,one level ata time.

I'm Pep. I'm learning to speak better and I measure every step. You get my notes and my real numbers, plus a small exercise you can try today.

who's writing this

I'm not a speaking coach.

I'm a few levels ahead of you, and I'm still climbing. Think of it like a game. A level 50 expert is great, but they forgot what level 0 feels like. I'm maybe level 10. Close enough to remember it, far enough to help.

So I don't guess. I record myself and measure my voice: how fast I talk, how long I pause, how much my pitch moves. Then I practise, and I measure again.

I learned how my voice works from Vinh Giang's course, once last year and again this summer. What you see here is my own practice and my own numbers.

day 1. I'll show you every change.

what I post

One idea per video.Always measured.

  1. Two Takes

I explain something with filler words, then without. The count is on screen.

  2. The Pause

A sentence with no pause, then one pause before the key word. You see the white space appear.

  3. One Dial

One part of your voice per episode. Speed, pause, volume, pitch, melody. Too little, too much, right.

  4. Measured

A few seconds of a famous speaker, drawn as a pen line. Then I try to say it the same way.

  5. Say It With Me

The line is on screen. I say it, then there's a gap for you to say it out loud.

  6. 60 Seconds, Your Topic

You pick the topic in the comments. I talk for a minute with no prep, and the score goes up at the end.

  7. The One Line

An awkward moment from school or work, and the one sentence that gets you out of it.

  8. How I Fixed It

Something I changed in my own voice, the exercise that did it, and how you try it today.

On YouTube there are longer ones too. One skill in depth, a famous speech broken down, the same story told five ways, and once a month, my own numbers.
